The kids enjoyed some time with their friend, Ashtyn Hess, while Bryan and Lori enjoyed a date with her parents, Braden and Kris Hess.

Lori went to a homeschooling convention with her sister, Lisa, who was up from Arizona. Lori got to meet our kids' DVD math teacher, Steve Demme from Math-U-See.

While Lori and her sister went to the homeschool convention the kids spent some time with Daddy. We spent part of one day at Hershey Chocolate World, the sweetest place on earth!

For Mother's Day the kids and Daddy made Mommy and Aunt Lisa a nice breakfast

We thought these "kissing calves" were cute. They actually suck on each others tounges to try to get more milk than what they were just given!

We enjoyed a Saturday hike and time together with friends, the Fernald family

Kendra helping with some farm chores. Living on a farm has been great!

Tara had her tonsils and adenoids taken out. We praise the Lord that they were able to schedule her so quickly - we saw the ENT doctor on a Monday, and he did the outpatient surgery on that Wednesday. She is doing great! The surgery really made a difference for her breathing, eating, sleeping, and life in general! She got to eat lots of ice cream which she didn't complain about!

Kendra had two school friends, Emily and Kelsey, over for a sleepover

We had a great time with the McManus family, fellow missionaries from Mexico who are also on a home assignment trip for the summer

Our Pioneer Club year at church ended with a banquet where they presented us with a new beautiful new guitar, a project that the club kids gave their offerings to all year. Here shown are each of our family memebers with their groups, and Kendra with her sportsmanship award for the pinewood derby.

Ministering at Grace Bible Chapel near Gettysburg, PA. We had an opportunity to minister there a few times over the last few months as they are currently without a pastor.

We had a delicious meal and a nice visit with a supporter and firend, Shirley McBride

The kids helped us get our lastest prayer letter ready to mail out

Hershey Chocolate World - sweeeeet!
You realize that my wife Shari is related to the company founder, Milton Snavely Hershey. They're 6th cousins 5 times removed. How come we didn't inherit a share in the company? :)

Cool! Thanks for sharing. From what I remember my wife is also remotely related to your wife, so maybe we're related to Hershey as well!
