March is here! Where does all the time go? Here are a few prayer items for this month:

We PRAISE the Lord for...
~ a snowy, but good trip to Michigan and a time of blessing with supporters and at Merson Church.
~ a good report from our church in Queretaro, Mexico, that the church is moving forward and more people are getting involved during our absence.
~ His continued provisions for us. We are getting close to 100% of our needed support now! We only lack about $100 per month. He has also been faithful to provide in many other ways in the last month.

Please PRAY with us for...
~ a missions conference we plan to be involved in at our home church, Calvary Bible Church, March 23-25.
~ our youth pastor and his wife, Jonathan & Rebekah Kauffman, who lost everything they owned in a fire recently. In that same row home fire here in Mount Joy, PA, Mexican friends of ours, Alberto and Flora Vargas, lost their Mexican store and restaurant business. Pray that we would have wisdom in knowing how to reach out to these families, and that the Vargas family might come to know Jesus through this. ~ that God will begin to prepare a good transition back to Mexico for us, including a good house to rent and good family and ministry transitions.

FAMILY

On Tuesday, February 20, we all strapped on roller skates for our all-church roller skating night. Nobody fell too badly - just mom and dad had some sore muscles the next day!

Emma, the baby we care for four days a week, continues to be a real joy - she's a great baby!

Bryan helps out on the farm here once or twice a week. It brings back alot of good memories from the farm he worked at in highschool. We also get fresh milk out of the deal! Here he is getting a tractor spruced up for sale at an auction.

MINISTRY

Some of the friends and supporters that we have enjoyed fellowship with in the past month

During our trip to Michigan, Feb. 16-19, we had good visits with some of our supporters, and we also had a great time with a supporting church, Merson Church, including a fellowship time after the evening service. Lori made some Mexican dishes for them to sample. We praise God for the saftey He has given us over our many miles of travel.

On the evening of February 14, Valentines Day, a row home fire in Mount Joy gutted the appartment of our youth pastor and his wife, Jonathan and Rebekah Kauffman. They lost almost everyhting they owned. Also affected in the fire were Alberto Vargas (pictured here) and his mother, Flora. They were owners of a Mexican store and restaurant that we had made much use of in the last few months. We were trying to figure out how to contact them since all our previous contact with them had been at their business. A few days later Bryan needed to stop by a Walmart in Lancaster to pick up a few things we needed, including some things we used to get at the Mexican sotre, and just "happened" to run into Alberto. We now have their phone number and hope to be in contact with them. We pray that God will use us to touch their hearts with the Gospel message.

Winter finally really arrived in the month of February. The kids had been praying for some snow, and they got some! Sled rides, snowballs, beautiful scenery, icicles, snow days off from school, drifts, white fields - we enjoyed it all!
